Kenya Labradors is located on 20 acres in gorgeous Santa Margarita, on the California Central Coast. With a lifetime of dedication and love of animals, including breeding and showing horses, we feel honored to specialize in the highest quality Chocolate Labrador Retrievers.

We breed Chocolate Labrador Retrievers for one thing only: the best possible all-around companion who exemplifies the ideal characteristics of the breed, which not only conforms to the AKC standards, but also results in a dog extremely well balanced in temperament, a pleasure to train and a beauty to behold.

Because of our commitment to humane values and stringent standards of breeding, we keep only a small number of Labs to show, compete and breed. This allows every single dog to live and play on expansive grassy meadows and swim in their own pond, never in enclosed or impersonal kennels. In addition to this idyllic outdoor life, our dogs sleep inside our home. It is really something to see them cuddle together, forming one massive Chocolate Labrador rug.

Chocolate Labs are not just our hobby and profession, they are also our dear friends. We are as devoted to them as they are to us. Together, we train and participate in many competitions, including obedience, agility, tracking, and performance events. In addition, we are proud winners of many AKC's Canine Good Citizen® awards.

I could walk around my yard barefooted.

My house could be carpeted, instead of tiled and laminated.

All flat surfaces, clothing, furniture, and cars would be free of hair.
